Is there a health deficiency when a person chews on their own skin?
In answer to your initial question, you cannot get an online diagnosis so don't ask. It's unlikely that there's a deficiency that drives one to chew on one's own skin. It's more likely to be a bad habit. You didn't mention ahealth diagnosisnything about biting it off and swallowing it, so I'm assuming that's not a component.
I'm sorry the Voters had to choose an answer for you. You may be internalizing stress. We develop all kinds of habits to cope with it. Yours may be one. They're not hereditary, your sister may have observhealth diagnosised you and picked it up.
Don't know, but it sounds more like a nervous habit to me. Are you a nervous-type person? If so, learn to relax with proper breathing exercises and other coping skills.
