I'm trying to lose weight and I know that you're supposed to eat breakfast to do that. I hate breakfast but I'm going to force myself to eat it because it will help speed up my metabolism. I don't know what to eat though. I need some good suggestions.
If you like breakfast foods, try some turkey bacon or sausage, I really, really like it.
You can portion breakfast our to a serving size ans have you a couple pancakes with some lite light syrup.
Try toast with jelly and maybe some I can't believe it's not butter spray, or an English muffin. Oatmeal (flavored of course for me), cream of wheat! There are a lot of good cold cereals out there that are good for you!
Make yourself a breakfast sandwich or burrito or breakfast bowl. If you make it yourself the chances of it being a healthy choice is in your hands!
Try some fruit.
You can also try some protein shakes, they are really quick, good for you and delicious. It's easy because you are just drinking it, not really eating with the benefits of feeling satisfied. You can make yourself a fruit smoothie with it or just create a fruit smoothie all together.

I never used to eat breakfast before either and most days i'd miss out on lunch too. Those days i was very overweight as i'd eat loads of junk food at the end of the day.
Now, I always eat cereal for breakfast. I usually eat 20g muesli - (no addedhealthy breakfast foods lose weight sugar or salt) with 100ml soya light milk or skim milk.
Or i have bran flakes with either soya light milk or skim milk.
veggies with lotsa fiber, and some white meat chicken or tuna or turkey for protien, protien and fiber is what ya want when you wake up and it's all you really need (unless your going to exercise then include some complex low gi carbs)

Eating breakfast is not something you're supposed to do to lose weight. It's something your supposed to do to provide your body with energy to live and move around.
I usually eat a cup of Fage yogurt (2%) and a 1/2 cup of dry oatmeal mixed into it. That's a powerhouse, low calorie, breakfast. Then a couple hours later have a banana or an apple.
Another good breakfast is scrambled egg whites, with mixed vegetables.
Egg whites and some sort of fruit, or a yogurt with fruit. The protein will help charge up your metabolism better than a bowl of cereal or oatmeal. Dont forget to drink your water! :-)
how is high fiber cereal. Make sure you get some lean protein to keep you full for longer.

I keep boiled eggs in the fridge. I love them and they are a great source of protein. Easy to grab on the go too. I also really like turkey bacon, it's surprisingly good. Fruit is great too. So, for breakfast have a few pieces of turkey bacon, whole grain toast and some fruit. It would be very healthy and keep you full for awhile. I guess it depends on what you like though. I also really like the Yoplait 100 calorie thick n' creamy yogurt. It's really really good. A smoothie would also be a great idea, especially if you don't necessarily like eating in the morning. Put a whole banana in the freezer. When it is frozen, cut off the peel, chop it up and throw it in a blender along with a cup of your favorite lowfat yogurt. Add a little juice to it. It's so versatile. I love smoothies. For a really good treat add some orange sherbert to the smoothie- so GOOD!
